FMH Shareholder Brian Harris attended the American Bar Association’s midwinter meeting in Los Angeles, California on May 20-21, 2025. Mr. Harris was part of a panel titled “How to Navigate Minefields When Representing a Taxpayer During Tax Litigation.”
The panel discussed strategies for attorneys representing clients in civil and criminal matters. Other panelists included Sanford Boxerman of Neil, Schwerin & Boxerman, P.C.; Evan Davis of Hochman Salkin Toscher Perez, P.C.; and Carneil Wilson of Dentons; and the panel’s moderator, Aaron Esman of Ziering & Esman, PLLC.
Mr. Harris represents clients in controversies with the IRS, including audits, appeals, and litigation in the U.S. tax court and district courts. He was previously a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice where he represented the United States and IRS in federal courts across the country.
